What a wonderful experience to meet Dr Zaimy!!! With the love and support of her family; it is obvious that this is the strength that she relied upon as she followed her passion and opened up her practice. Dr Zaimy loves her patients and takes her time to examine and treat.

Tell us about your Family? My family consists of three people, we immigrated to CR from Cuba 26 years ago, so we are a very close family, currently my parents and sister live in San Jose but we talk every day.
Where are you from? Cuba
Where do you live? Playa del Coco, behind Flor de Itabo Hotel.
Why did you move to CoCo and how long have you lived here? I always wanted to live on the beach, and Coco is a place that I loved from the first day, and I have lived here for 5 years.

Do you have a job or own a business? Tell us about it? I came for work reasons, so I started at Optica Visión, and on May 27 of this year I opened my own specialty clinic.

Do you volunteer in CoCo? Not yet with any organization but I try to help whenever I can, and I feed street dogs.

Do you have any animals?
Yes, 2 rescue dogs
What are your hobbies?
I love training to keep myself in good condition, cooking, listening to music, relaxing on the beach and exploring places.
What are your favorite restaurants?
Le coq, Masala, Santorini, Best Burger, Verde Salvia, La Caveja.
What is your favorite watering hole & drink?
Water, Sangria, White Wine, Dr. Pepper.
What is your favorite beach and why? Arenilla, because it is very hidden and hardly anyone knows about it.

What is your favorite place to visit outside of CoCo? Monteverde, San José

I usually like to explore unknown places, and sometimes I get lost and it's hard for me to come back.
